CESSNA 208B CARAVAN
The aim of the course is to provide the trainee with the required skills, knowledge and attitudes to safely exercise the privileges of operating the Cessna 208B Caravan. The successful applicant will receive C208B Flight Review and Gas Turbine Endorsement.
REQUIREMENTS
Ground school training is completed during the first 2 days of the course, here you will learn Gas Turbine theory as well as the operating procedures of the Cessna 208B.
Flight school and flight training lessons include basic general handling flights, advanced handling flight techniques and procedures, procedures in the event of abnormal situations and human factors and non-technical skills awareness and application to enable the pilot to operate the aircraft safely and efficiently.
PREREQUISITES
TFor the Oberon Aviation Services Pty Ltd’s course the mandatory pre-requisite qualifications include a PPL(A) or CPL(A) license with appropriate aeronautical experience (e.g. a minimum of 200 hours flight time)
CPL COURSE DURATION
The course may be undertaken on a full-time basis over 5-7days.

OUR FLIGHT SCHOOL
Training is conducted at Albury Aerodrome NSW in a purpose-built flight training school collocated with Oberon Aviation. The school consists of a fleet of capable training aircraft and the region’s only state-of-the-art Redbird full motion flight simulator.
I had originally started at a different school and transferred to Flight Training Centre part way through.
Flight Training Centre has since stood out to me for having excellent training focused on safety and student success, with experienced instructors who are friendly and thorough.
